I know, I've been a TERRIBLE blogger. But I wanted to announce that I finally have a release date for my novella. Yay!

Welcome to 2012!

Hope you guys had a fantastic New Year and a great holiday season.

Starting out 2012 with some good news. I sold a m/m contemporary novella to Siren-Bookstrand :) Projected publication is tentatively set for April. Yay!

My writing goals for 2012 are pretty simple: just keep doing what I'm doing =P Hard to fail that, right?

I'm going to attempt to blog more regularly, but in order to do that, I'll have to go down to one post a week. Way more manageable!

For my first post, I thought I'd share some good news! I submitted my m/m story Claret to the Halloween anthology call at Evernight Publishing. They liked the story enough that they offered to either publish it solo or, if I wanted it to remain part of an anthology, to put out a call for a Manlove Edition. I'm super excited to say that I chose, this time, to go with the anthology and Claret will appear in the Manlove Edition of Midnight Seduction. Yay!

This isn't part of the story I submitted, but I wanted to share some of my writing as well. Hope you like it!

Allen is suited for winter, when the snow falls in drifts and Allen wanders down the wooded paths and disappears between the bleached trees.

Kanda pulls on his coat and follows the fading footprints. Around the bend, where the trees stand close and the snow spins in icy whorls around raised roots, Kanda pauses.

Allen is draped against the trunk of an old willow. His legs are parted, an open invitation, and he has one hand shoved beneath the waist of his pants.

"Insane," Kanda breathes, and ignores the shiver that rides his spine.
